Our May Hero is Mikey Mahoney, a standout nursing graduate from UConn and a dedicated leader of huskython a collegiate fundraising program with dancemarathon supporting local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. For the past four years, Mikey has helped raise funds and create lasting memories for patients at Connecticut Children’s Hospital and made history by raising over $120,000 - the most ever by a single student! Known for her selflessness and passion, Mikey continues to inspire others to lead with heart and make a difference   On Saturday, May 31, the 7 Brew Vernon location will be donating $1 from every large drink purchased that day to HuskyTHON in honor of Mikey’s heart for helping others.
