Meet Xavier Penetrante, a third-year honors neuroscience student at the U of A researching traumatic brain injury at the Allison Lab. Working with Dr. Ted Allison and Dr. Tanja Zerulla, Xavier studies the behaviour and cognition of zebrafish larvae to support impactful research on neurodegenerative disorders, such as Alzheimer's. From a U of A ambassador to a student researcher, Xavier is making an impact in both science and advocacy.
