During our #COCLobbyDay, our members boldly and courageously shared their stories on Capitol Hill to say to lawmakers to #NoCutsToCare and urge them to vote “NO” on the reconciliation bill. Color Of Change member Johntel G’s (johnnietee) life was changed by public education, federal grants and loans, and other vital resources that the supporters of this bill seek to cut. Being able to succeed in school and go to college inspired her to do advocacy and organizing work in his community and beyond, including partnering with Color Of Change. We need public schools.
