I know all my UCF fans remember this game. In the eyes of Aubrey Dawkins, this game was a "heartbreak" and a "failure." In my eyes, this game was one of Aubreys most significant moments of learning. After having the best college game of his career against Duke with 32 points and shooting 5-7 from three, Aubrey had to face defeat at the very end with a missed tip in. Life is full of highs and lows, and most of the time, these are teachable moments. There is no better teacher in life than failure. Failure brings the opportunity to learn things better. It helps us in learning from our mistakes. Failures make us rethink and reconsider to find new ways and strategies to achieve our goals. Failure helps us in gaining deeper experience and better knowledge that widens our patterns of growth. It plants deep value within us so that we can better understand life and the world around us.
