Before sitting down to talk RGIII I’d heard 2 or 3 pods asking Black athletes why they date outside of their race, & I wondered why do I only hear that question to us… and why does the answer always make black women “less than.” I tried to kill two birds with one stone, & I was not clear. I inadvertently lumped everyone into the same category. That was irresponsible of me. I called my sister amanda.willlams0720 to have a real conversation, & to listen to her truths. There so many good people like her that stand in the gap for you no matter the color. Those are the people I should have been applauding instead of focusing on those who don’t.
