Even though, I don’t believe we are our worst moments we as black men, all men have to do better. We need accountability, responsibility, awareness, & diligence. 2 years ago I told the story of Naeshall Menard. A friend of mine who committed suicide in 1998. I encouraged us to ask our people three questions… “You good? You ok? Do you need anything?”. I’ve been slipping on that, & I’m reminded once again how important it is to ask those questions.
