When the steelers drafted Cam Heyward late in the first round his mother told him that God & his father had a plan for him. Cam’s dad Iron Head Craig Heyward starred for the pitt_fb Panthers before going on to an 11 year NFL career. Even though his dad passed years before the call from Mike Tomlin on draft day it immediately connected Cam to his father. It not only gave him a chance to learn about his Iron Head’s legacy but build upon it.
