In the mirror, I saw what most people see of me, what I allow them to, & at surface level he’s lovable. Then, I closed my eyes & it changed everything. In the dark I saw my secrets, my struggles, & my demons… the things I share with God daily. I don’t love him, I’m ashamed of him, & embarrassed by him. I have to change him. Part of growth is grace, but never allow grace to erase accountability.
