I was a makeup artist in LA for over a decade. I loved putting on a ‘whole face’ - foundation, concealer, bronzer, blush, and all the liners and glosses. It was a way I could express myself and play with color. Over time, I’ve seen the contour lines lessen, eyeshadow expire and consumption lessen. Instead of ‘makeovers’ I’ve started to referring to my makeup relationship as a ‘makeunder.’ My definition of makeup now: A few glow-getting drops of our Bronzite Gloss on freshly washed skin, a few dots of tint, a lip-to-cheek pot that lives in my purse and goes from day to night. Rarely mascara but I make up for that with brow bushiness :) As a working mom, ease is the vibe.
