“Each of us is a witness,” Assistant to the President Fr. Richard Zanoni, S.J., said in his homily as he celebrated our Ascension Thursday liturgy today for our entire community in Scaccia Auditorium. “Witnessing we do ... and we do it so much better than judging, since we tend to misjudge and rash judge all too frequently. So, let’s stick to being humble and joyful witnesses, witnesses of God’s goodness to us, and let us be willing to share that goodness, whenever and wherever we may find ourselves at any given moment.” Ascension Thursday commemorates the ascension of Jesus Christ into heaven, 40 days after His resurrection on Easter Sunday.
