The Miners won their fifth straight contest and handed their Midwest Conference Western Division opponent an eighth straight loss. Starting pitcher Kellen Brothers (pictured) earned his third win of the season. He tossed six strong innings, allowing only one run on six hits, walking two, and striking out five.
