Director and cinematographer spencerfrostfilms was recently in the Kingdom of Tonga capturing humpback whales for a special project. To document these gentle giants underwater, Spencer used RED’s #VRAPTOR paired with saltysurfhousings’ V-RAPTOR housing. “After a week on the boat with rough weather and no luck finding whales, the skies finally cleared, and this curious calf settled enough for us to get in the water. The visibility was all-time. Being able to document a moment like that, in that kind of detail, was something I won’t forget.”
