Tucked between the golden hills of Del Mar and the hush of the coast breeze, there’s a place that doesn’t ask for attention but wholly deserves it. No signs. No crowds. Just rows of lavender quietly unfurling like a dream you forgot you had. Locals say it’s seasonal. Fleeting. A couple of weeks where the air smells like calm, and the horizon turns a dusty purple that somehow makes you breathe slower. I found it by accident one of those turns you almost don’t take, but something tells you to. There was a woman there, barefoot in the dirt, with her eyes closed like she was listening to something most of us can’t hear. She told me she comes every year, same time, to “remember how small and lucky we are.” We didn’t talk much after that. If you go, go softly. Bring your quiet. Leave your phone. Let the bees hum their lullaby. And don’t tell too many people. Some places are meant to be found, not followed. 🌿💜 📍location tagged in reel #DelMar #LavenderSeason #HiddenSanDiego...
