FOX26 News spoke with an individual Friday who said they were representing "trans folk" and "queer folk" at the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) State Track and Field Championships happening in Clovis this weekend. The protester, who did not want to be identified, shared their beliefs with our photographer sharing their support for transgender people and athletes. This interview took place before this same protester was arrested for allegedly assaulting a man who was demonstrating for the other side of the issue.
