Alyssa has always been one of those people who makes you feel instantly at ease — kind, goofy in the best way, and the kind of person who brings warmth into every room she walks into. Getting to photograph her with Ryan (and meet him for the first time!) was such a joy. They’re in a newer season — recently graduated, teaching middle schoolers, building something meaningful together — but you can already see how steady it feels. They laugh easily, move in sync, and have that quiet kind of connection that doesn’t need to prove anything. We kept things simple: light, movement, a few sweet moments, and a whole lot of real. The kind of session that reminds me why documenting the early chapters can be just as powerful as the long-established ones. Can’t wait to watch their story keep unfolding.
