There are several myths as to what human trafficking may entail: *Myth: “All human trafficking involves sex.” *FACT: It is believed there are more situations of labor trafficking, but more awareness in sex trafficking. *Myth: “Human trafficking only happens in illegal or underground industries.” *FACT: Human trafficking has been reported in various businesses, including restaurants, cleaning services, factories and more. *Myth: “Only women and girls can be victims of sex trafficking.” *FACT: All genders are susceptible of being victims of human trafficking.
