Steel City forward Jianna Church set the tone with a pitch-perfect national anthem that echoed the grit and pride of this place we call home. On the field, it was a baptism by fire in our United Women’s Soccer 2 debut. The final score read 5-1 in favor of Firebirds SC, but it didn’t tell the whole story.
