This month has been a lot. With the end-of-year craziness at school and the loss of a family member, our usual schedule and training routine with Tux got totally shaken up. I’ve definitely noticed some regression in his training — little things we had solid now feel rusty, and his working brain seems a bit under-stimulated. But you know what? That’s okay. Dogs, just like us, go through seasons where consistency slips and the rhythm gets off. We’re giving ourselves grace and remembering that progress isn’t lost; it just needs a little dusting off. Tux and I will bounce back together — with patience, fresh energy, and lots of fun sessions ahead.
