During our #COCLobbyDay, over thirty Color Of Change members came to Capitol Hill in DC to proclaim to lawmakers: #SaveSNAP, #ProtectMedicaid, and vote “NO” on the reconciliation bill. One of our members, Nadiyah M., came all the way from New Orleans, Louisiana to share her story. After being disabled due to a doctor’s negligence, she depends on Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and SNAP. These are the very programs on the chopping block in this bill.
