QUALIFIED! Our 2008 u17 team has qualified for MLS NEXT FLEX Playoffs! MLS NEXT FLEX is a playoff event, hosted at Maryland SoccerPlex from May 9th-13th. The top teams from each division qualify for the event through their results in matches across the fall and early spring. Teams are drawn into groups of 4 for the event, where they then play one another in a round robin, with each group winner earning a spot in the MLS NEXT Cup in June in Nashville, TN. Our 2008s are the first age group we've had start at the u13 entry year; at the start of MLS NEXT (which took over from US Soccer's Development Academy). Now it's their fifth year at the Academy level and they've qualified to compete for a spot in MLS NEXT Cup. We're excited to see these boys compete in the Playoffs come May!
