Alright I guess it’s time to come to terms with this… I have decided to step away from the sport I love most a bit sooner than expected due to injury. Volleyball shaped so much of who I am today. I am so grateful for the memories, the lessons, the growth, and most of all, the incredible relationships built along the way. Thank you volleyball for testing me in ways that normal life could never. Thank you volleyball for bringing me the most amazing people I call family. Thank you volleyball for being my escape, and my home away from home. Thank you volleyball for giving a lost little girl a sense of belonging in the world. Thank you volleyball for giving me a purpose, and a path to inspire the future generation of badass women in sports. This chapter may be closing, but my love for the game and the people who took on this journey with me will always stay with me. 💛AK #0
