For my mom's first time leaving the country, she summed up what travel has felt like in one sentence, "it feels like a different part of home." That one statement perfectly reflects how I've felt through my time spent abroad, and a great outlook on what our mentality towards travel should be; in everywhere we go, treat it like we would our home.
