Portland’s annual celebration of the area’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, and trans communities is set to take place in July this year, one month later than usual, in an effort to stop overlap with other local events. Those other events, namely Juneteenth and the Delta Park Pow Wow, have often happened nearly simultaneously with Portland Pride. The parade also conflicted with Fathers’ Day most years.
