5 years ago I started a long road of protesting that led to extreme situations and created a passion for documenting those events. Portland seemed to be a bit more violent than some but people all over joined, not just in support of George Floyd, but against the deeply rooted systemic racism in the US. We saw countless videos of police brutality without any accountability, but that was just the tip of the iceberg. Despite the few changes that were achieved, the new administration is trying to undo them and make it more challenging to hold the police accountable and have basic human rights. Standing up for what is right is always an option, and some have the privilege to use their influence to push for change.
