We usually take a team bus to competitions (if possible) here are a few of my travel ‘must haves’: A book (maybe 2 if you are a fast reader), headphones, neck pillow, card games are fun if you have the space and lots of water (you don’t want to forget to stay hydrated right before your competition!). Also, having a list of all the items you will need for comp and ensuring you have all of these things at least a week in advance will take away some of the anxiety of forgetting something.
