Alaska post .03 #thelastexpanse Normally, I don’t really mess with camping. 🐻 + 💩 and sleeping outside? I’m good my G. Part of that is my OCD about cleanliness and a general desire to not be bear food. But somewhere in there lies my fear of looking like a jackass. Not having access to the outdoors as a kid and it not being a particularly POC centric place left me worried I would not be able to pitch a tent or sleep well or hike reasonably quickly. Guess what, I was bad at it. All of it. But the quiet and stillness of the refuge made it all worth it. Everyone deserves that. #protectthearctic #neverstopexploring
