G 🚂 facts | The MTA says the L train will be shutdown beginning in April 2019 for 15 months to make critical repairs to the 100-year-old Canarsie tunnel. The L train’s weekly ridership between Manhattan and Brooklyn is 225,000. The plan to offset the lack of L service for those riders is to increase service along the J, M, Z and G train as well L-alternative buses that have a dedicated lane on the Williamsburg bridge. #creativeresidency
