G train facts keep coming: G 🚂 facts | One of the G trains key issues is uneven loading of train cars. Meaning several cars (mostly end cars) are overcrowded while others have very few riders in them. A major factor contributing to uneven loading is the G train’s four-car length. The G train stops at platforms designed for longer trains, so regardless of where the train stops, one end of the train will always be at least 150 feet (and sometimes as far as 300 feet) from the end of the platform.
