.17 James Ming Johnson #milesdontmatter comes out of the woodwork to celebrate a coworker that has now become a friend. James, aka Cali swag district, and I are not very similar. But yesterday we had a beer, and man it's amazing what an empty glass, some free time and a little honesty can do. We talked for over an hour about how we both arrived in this place called New York City, what our dreams were and what it meant to be 20 something. Usual post grad garbage right? No, we talked about heartbreak, about home, and about not fearing adventure. He told me things, things we should fear sharing with each other. Yesterday I remembered that I am not the only one in the world who is self conscious, fearful, bold, lonely, lovely, excited and all those things we keep bottled inside. Ten points for honesty.
