Join us on Friday, June 6th, from 10:00–11:30am EST for an oceanly UNOC3 side event that brings together young ocean advocates from around the world. This virtual gathering will spotlight youth leaders who are using video, art, social media, and grassroots outreach to protect and restore our ocean. You’ll hear how they are taking action in their communities through creative and powerful approaches. After the showcase, participants will join breakout rooms based on different action tools—video, art, social media, and outreach to share their own ideas and experiences. These sessions will encourage open conversation about challenges, brainstorm ways to overcome them, and explore how youth efforts can contribute to the 10 Ocean Action Panels of the UN Ocean Conference. It’s a chance to exchange insights, inspire each other, and build new connections for collaboration.
