MCSO is turning up the volume on second chances! 🎹 🎤 Our Programs staff are thrilled to announce the official opening of our new music studio at the Detention Center, Studio W5HY?, an outlet for our residents to express themselves through musical creation, poetry and the spoken word 🎶 Thanks to a significant contribution from the @timberglingfoundation, which carries forward the legacy of late Swedish artist @avicii (Tim Bergling), we've created a unique studio space dedicated to giving our residents the chance to explore their past, confront guilt and trauma, and nurture self-awareness and emotional strategies that would aid in their reintegration, personal growth, and revival. This innovative studio will serve as a place where rhythm and reflection meet reformation to explain the WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, WHY and HOW of YOU.
