Bringing home some hardware 🏅 Izzy Peterson capped off the three-day 2025 NCAA DIII Outdoor Championships for @uwplattxctf on Saturday, earning All-American honors in the 200m from the SPIRE Institute Outdoor Track and Field in Geneva, Ohio. Peterson broke her own school record in the event en route to collecting All-American honors, finishing the 200m race in 24.14 seconds, over a tenth of a second faster than her previous school record of 24.25 seconds. The junior had advanced to Saturday’s finals in the event after running a 24.35 in the preliminaries, and she improved upon that time to take seventh overall in the finals. Peterson becomes the first women’s student-athlete in program history to earn outdoor All-American honors in the 200m. She was named an All-American in the 200m during indoor season as well, and she holds both the indoor and outdoor record in the event.
