Nic Enright, a 2019 draft pick, was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in December 2022. Despite a gruesome treatment regimen, Enright continued pitching in 2023 at both the Single-A and Triple-A level. But last week he earned the moment of a lifetime.
Enright went in as a relief for the cleguardians, striking out three in two scoreless innings. The game against tigers took place on Sunday, about two and a half years after his diagnosis. (via akronbeaconjournal)

#59, the same number that used to belong to Carlos Carrasco, who battled leukemia while he played in the major leagues.
