Hey, Austin, welcome to our crib!! 👋 Every week, our crews are at @austin_water’s Hornsby Bend Biosolids Management Facility working hard to reduce waste 🚜🌱🦆 Take a peek at how they do it behind the scenes: People drop off their yard trimmings and large brush at the facility. This material is processed and turned into nutrient-rich mulch which our crews take to another one of our cribs, the Recycle & Reuse Drop-off Center, and offer it up to residents at no cost (by appointment only). The rest of the material? @austin_water does their thang and composts it to make the famous Dillo Dirt!
