In 2019, I walked down a hallway at our downtown campus and saw Nate and Kathy recording a podcast. I had just moved from Dallas, where we had Views From the Porch, and said, “Mind if I jump in?” That spontaneous moment turned into Becoming Something. Week after week, we’ve sat down and talked about Jesus, the Bible, and the real stuff young adults are facing. And somehow, God’s used it far beyond anything we expected. This year, Nate and I got to head to the K-LOVE Fan Awards because BESO was nominated as Fan-Favorite Podcast. I even had the chance to teach Sunday service alongside cecewinans (what?!). We didn’t take home a trophy—but we did hit Waffle House after and celebrated like we did. Grateful for what God’s doing through this little podcast that started in a hallway.
