📣 Congratulations to Shin Min, the winner of the inaugural #MGMDiscoveriesArtPrize! In recognition of originality and innovation in her work, fatshinmin will receive a cash prize to be shared with p21.kr. To inspire further creativity, she will also receive the opportunity to exhibit work in Macau and share her journey with Macau’s artistic talents. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Shin Min’s work explores the struggles of South Korean women in service and corporate jobs, inspired by her experiences at Starbucks and McDonald’s. Her ‘Semi’ series features sculptures of female workers in uniforms and hairnets, symbolizing labor constraints and conformity.
