In celebration of National Cancer Survivors Day (June 1), we’re continuing to honor survivors for their strength and optimism. Here, we’re shining a light on non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma survivor Erica Wish. Ten weeks into pregnancy, Erica’s routine screening revealed aggressive non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. With a dedicated team at MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, she underwent chemo while pregnant and safely delivered a healthy baby boy.
