✨Our new exhibition "Harold Acton, Oxford, and the Twenties" is officially open! ✨On April 23rd, curators Francesca Baldry, Lisa Cesarani, and student curators Emilee Baack, Sophia Meyer, and Tech Nix hosted the public and the NYU community at Villa La Pietra for a presentation on the exhibition highlighting on Harold Acton during his years at Oxford University in the 1920s.  The exhibition is split into five sections: Fashion and Dance as Social Expression, Traveling With the Oxford Railway Club, The Hypocrites Club at Oxford, Harold Acton and the Salon: Art and Literature between Florence and Paris, and lastly, Harold in Oxford, an extension of last semester’s exhibit, "Growing Up at the Villa: The Adventures of the Acton Boys (1904-1920)".  📸🌸Set-up of the Fashion and Dance section displaying a 1925 Pink Sequined Flapper Dress attributed to the Callot Soeurs  🦋"When I read about the nineteen-twenties to-day, I feel I might be reading about butterflies, and that the contemporar...
