The developer that now solely owns the Wanamaker Building, TF Cornerstone, announced its plans for the historic Center City property. The New York City-based company wants to convert most of the building’s upper floors into 600 loft apartments. As for some of the other floors, the developer plans to keep two floors as office space, bring in more retailers and maintain the Crystal Tea Room as an event space. The Wanamaker Organ will keep operating and the Grand Court will stay a public space after Macy's closed in March, according to a statement released by TF Cornerstone.
