This weekend, more than 2,500 guests gathered at the Philadelphia Zoo for our 29th Annual Fetal Family Reunion — a heartwarming celebration of strength, resilience, and hope. Hosted by the chopfetalcenter, the event reunited over 900 families whose children received life-changing care before or just after birth. From fetal surgery to specialized delivery, these families share a powerful bond with our dedicated team. Since 1995, our Center has cared for more than 32,000 expectant mothers from all 50 states and more than 70 countries, performing more than 2,400 fetal surgeries — establishing CHOP as a global leader in fetal medicine.
