✨ Real talk - it's taken a long time to get to this point. 6 months ago, this boy's back legs decided to abruptly stop working. It scared the ABSOLUTE HECK out of both of us and all the neurologist could tell me was that it was a bacterial infection in his spine, and there was the very real possibility that he would never regain movement in his rear end. After spending an entire weekend laying on the couch, depressed and anxiously googling everything I could possibly think of, that Monday rolled around and it was like a switch had flipped. He was motivated to get those legs moving again, I was motivated to get those legs moving again...we just didn't know how to get there. 5 months ago, he gave me the best present ever - he got up, on his own, and walked about 10'.
