Being from Yorkshire, I think has had a huge impact on what kind of rider I am. I grew up training here. It’s pretty relentless, it’s pretty brutal. It’s a very unforgiving road surface. Unforgiving gradient. Norwood Edge is probably the steepest climb in the area. It’s kind of unique because it’s got these alpine corners through it, through the trees at the top. It’s really beautiful and it’s really, really tough. I grew up a stone’s throw from it and used to train on it a lot. And now that we’re living back in Yorkshire, I intend to use the stiffness of that climb a lot more as well. I’m a classics rider, I’m a one day rider and I thrive in those kind of tough conditions and I’m really enjoying being back on home roads and pushing myself to the limits on terrain that doesn’t really give you anything for free. #santinicycling #santinipeople #santiniwomen 🎥 prjct.four
