Boston Marathon Race Recap, Part 6: sarahall3 and jesstonn are both incredibly smart racers. I felt like I was very much in good company running side by side with them. Miles with these two were honestly so fun. I had run and worked together with Sara in races before, most notably being teammates on the World Championships team in 2022. This was the first time I had a chance to run with Jess though, in a marathon that is. Jess and I actually go back to college where we both were competing in cross country and track 2011-2015. I can’t tell you how many times we raced against each other. It wasn’t until the 2025 Boston Marathon that we finally got to run side by side though. Jess is fairly new to the marathon. She recently placed 4th at the Olympic Trials, but that was in just her third marathon! And here she was crushing another one, honestly making it look so dang easy.
