Is oatmeal healthy? 🤔

I sure thought so. I would choke this stuff down most mornings even though I thought it tasted pretty lousy since I was taught it was a nutritious breakfast.. •

As I came to learn, it's really not healthy at all. 🤦🏼♂️

It's mostly starch which is not a good way to start off your day and has very little of what you actually need to fuel your body for the day. •

This grain is also inflammatory for most folks and can be problematic to you gut health. •

Don't get me wrong, it's miles better than other breakfast cereals and processed food. It does have some fiber and you can make it better by adding things like nut butter and fresh berries. •

The bottom line is that if your like I was and just eating oatmeal since you've been told it's healthy, I'm here to tell you that your better off without it. •
