Using your scale weight to judge progress or health is similar to counting calories to judge your diet 🙄
•
It's not that your weight and calories don't matter at all, because they do. But, they're not the only things that matter.
•
In fact, they are fairly low on the totem pole of parameters you should be tracking since there are so many other things that come into play beyond these simple numbers. ⚖️
•
The most common question that gets asked in regards to my physical health is, how much do you weigh? 🤦🏽♂️
•
People should really be asking important things like: how much energy do you have? How do you feel everyday?
Body composition?
What are your hemoglobin A1c and C-reactice protein levels at?
•
The reason so many folks focus on parameters such as scale weight or calories in/calories out is because it's very easy to look at. It over simplifies navegating the complexities of health and nutrition, which can be helpful to an extent, but often times back fires. •
