Not only are they mostly comprised of blood sugar spiking starch, but they have been shown to cause all kinds of inflammation, weight gain, and gut/brain issues in the vast majority of people to some degree. •

Most people realize that grain products such as breads, pastas, crackers, etc. are not good for you. But beans & legumes?!? 🍞🍝🥨🍚

That's right. Those 'protein/fiber packed' beans you have been eating since you thought they were healthy are actually mostly starch! They often times cause GI issues and have a poor amino acid (protien) profile compared to high-quality animal protien. •
