Freezing preserves these essential nutrients which gives frozen fruit a better nutritional profile than fresh. πŸ‡πŸ’πŸ“ β€’ Just about all fresh fruit is picked prematurely, so it doesn't over-rippen by the time you buy it at the grocery store. Frozen, on the other hand, is picked at peak ripeness! This allows the plant to provide the fruit with optimal amounts of nutrients in it's final days of life. β€’β€’ β€’ Frozen fruit is super convenient, less expensive, and since it doesn't over-rippen it creates far less waste! πŸ‘πŸΌ β€’ I am not saying fresh fruit is bad.
