McLarens' Oscar Piastri won the Spanish Grand Prix with a dominant run at the front of the field at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya to secure victory in front of his teammate Lando Norris but the biggest surprise of the day was a late collision penatly dropping Red Bull's Max Verstappen to 10th. š¤Æā£

The race was dramatically shaken up when a Safety Car was deployed in the latter stages of the race after Kimi Antonelliās Mercedes pulled off track with a mechanical issue, prompting most of the frontrunners to pit again. š³ā£

While Piastri and Norris surged ahead at the restart, Verstappen was overtaken by Ferrariās Charles Leclerc for third place before his altercation with Mercedesā George Russell. The two made contact, forcing Verstappen down the escape roadāprompting Red Bull to instruct him to give the position back. šā£
