(Part 1 of 6) Idaho faces a pressing mental health crisis, particularly among our youth. In 2023, preliminary data shows there were 430 totals suicides, including 30 teenagers. This crisis calls for our immediate attention. We spoke with a local parent, the director of a local mental health focused organization, the Idaho Crisis and Suicide Hotline and a researcher who focuses on social media and the impacts it has on mental health about this topic.
