🌊 This World Oceans Day, we’re celebrating coral reefs — the wild heart of the ocean. 🪸 Though they cover less than 1% of the ocean floor, coral reefs are home to a quarter of all marine life. They provide food, medicines, and a buffer against powerful storm surges for coastal communities. But these vibrant ecosystems are in crisis — 50% have already been devastated, largely due to climate change and pollution from industry and development. The good news is — coral reefs can be healed!
